Beyond Borders. Education
Beyond Borders Education / Canada

Canada, from the first question to the first day of class.

We match international students with Canadian schools, carry the application paperwork with them, and stay in touch long after they land. Education advisors, not immigration consultants, and clear about the difference.

Clear boundaries

Education advisors, honest about what we are not.

Guidance, not guesswork

Every step grounded in official Government of Canada sources.

Honest answers

Even the ones that occasionally cost us a client.

Your data, protected

Enquiries are private and used only to reply to you.

A school application has many moving parts. We hold them together.

Choosing a country is the easy decision. What follows is a long sequence of forms, deadlines, translations, proofs of funds and interviews, most of it in a second language and none of it forgiving of a missed detail.

Beyond Borders Education sits between you and the institution. We shortlist programs that fit your language level, budget and academic record, prepare and check every document, guide the study permit application, and help you arrive ready rather than guessing.

See how we work

Why Canada

Six reasons students pick Canada over the alternatives.

Education

Degrees with paid work built in

Canadian universities sit among the top 100 globally. The difference is the co-op model: many engineering, computing, business and health programs require paid work terms of four to twelve months inside the degree, so graduates leave with Canadian experience already on the resume.

Cost

Lower total cost than the usual comparisons

Undergraduate tuition runs roughly $20,000 to $45,000 a year and a master's $14,000 to $31,500. A weaker Canadian dollar stretches funds sent from abroad further, and co-op income offsets the longer four-year degree.

Work

Work during the degree, and after it

Full-time students may work up to 20 hours a week during term and full-time over scheduled breaks. After graduating, the Post-Graduation Work Permit allows up to three years of work with no job offer required first.

Residency

A realistic path to staying

One year of skilled Canadian work can open the Canadian Experience Class through Express Entry. Provincial Nominee Programs run dedicated graduate streams, and French speakers have a less crowded Francophone stream of their own.

Life

Safe, stable, and used to newcomers

Canada ranks in the top ten safest countries and is home to people from nearly 200 nations, so international students are rarely the only ones far from home. Provincial health plans cover most medical costs for students.

Caveats

What has changed recently

Study permit caps arrived in 2024, and non-degree programs now carry a field of study requirement for the work permit. These rules move. Checking your exact program against the current list is part of what we do before you apply.

The student journey

Our work does not stop at enrolment.

The old model treated a student as an enquiry that became an enrolment and then disappeared. In practice the relationship runs in four stages, and the later ones matter most.

Stage 01

Before you apply

School fairs, first conversations, honest answers about what your grades and budget can reach.

Stage 02

Applying and arriving

Applications, document translation, the study permit, travel and a place to live on day one.

Stage 03

While you study

Part-time work rules, problems that need a local voice, and keeping your family informed at home.

Stage 04

After you graduate

Graduation, further study, referrals, and someone who still knows your file years later.

The line we do not cross

We are education advisors. We are not immigration consultants.

Important

We do not provide immigration advice or act on your behalf in an immigration procedure. In Canada only a lawyer in good standing with a provincial or federal body, or a consultant registered with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, may do that work.

When your situation needs one, we say so and point you to the official register rather than guessing. Anyone who blurs that line is a risk to your file.
